Adding items to your Catalog
You can add items to your Catalog in the Back Office. The Catalog is accessible from all your POS devices, making it easier to add items to the Sale. Let’s see how to add a new item or category.
- Sign in to your Back Office at https://my.fortis.world/auth/login
- Go to Catalog.
- To add a new category:
- click Category.
- Fill in the form. Add an image and select a parent category if needed.
- Click Add or Add & new.
- To add a new item:
- Click Add item.
- Fill in the form.
- Select a unit of measure and a type: Material good, Digital good, Material service or Digital service.
- Select a status: Active or Hidden.
- Add an image and select a category if needed.
- Add one or more variations. For instance, you sell clothes and have two t-shirts of the same model and color, which vary by size — that are the size variations.
- Click Add or Add & new.

- To edit an existing item, find it in the Catalog and click its title. In particular, you can add a new variation to an existing item.
